Paddy

Paddy came into recovery himself in 2016 and has worked in a variety of roles in the addiction treatment field since 2017. He holds full accreditation with the BACP alongside a master’s degree in Integrative Psychotherapy from Regent’s University London.

Being an Integrative Psychotherapist means he can listen with a trained ear and draw from a number of different psychological viewpoints to help you understand and better negotiate with your difficulties. Upholding an atmosphere of non-judgemental acceptance sits at the top of his list of priorities.

Over the past 7 years Paddy has worked with inpatients, outpatients and groups in several prominent rehabilitation centres. Alongside private practice and work in treatment centres he is employed as a therapist for the Metropolitan Police and also helps manage an NHS gambling service.

Paddy remains actively engaged with his own recovery, believes deeply in the principles of the 12-Step Programme and incorporates this philosophy into his approach where appropriate.
